About us

Context for Spring Quarter 2020

Our team consists of three coterm-graduate students that had met through Stanford's B.S.ME program. We decided to continue working together after bonding over our ME218B project. Little did we know that our last quarter in the Smart Product Design sequence would be during a pandemic. Due to the remote nature of this quarter, we had to adapt to a mechatronics-themed work-from-home lifestyle. This involved converting our desks into mini-lab benches, warning our housemates about our incessant beeping noises, and constantly contacting each other over FaceTime, Zoom, Discord, and Mumble — with 2-3 ongoing calls at a time.
